First time to write the review as I am so disappointed for the meal. Add $48 each for the Seafood Paella but the prawns are not fresh and seem not well cooked, taste a bit salty. Would say it is worth to add $58 for the wagyu beef which is tender but the portion is rather small. Don’t think it is worth to go again……

We liked the idea of the concept and were therefore intrigued to try it for dinner. We were greeted by the courteous staff upon sitting down and were given the lunch menu, we were only told then that there was no liquor license (something very common in HK’s new restaurants) but we thought that this should have been communicated on the phone so that we could have come with a bottle. Instead we went to 7/11 to buy offthe shelf wine. The food experience was not great. The amusebouche pinxtos type was a nice gesture: manchego, beetroot, honey on a paper thin piece of bread. It felt cheap and that wasn’t manchego. The gambas, the pulpo and bikini chorizo for starters arrived on time, with the first 2 dishes being very bland (hummus accompaniment didn’t feel like hummus, way too citrusy), and the bikini chorizo sandwich was terrible served with this honey glaze again that hid the taste of this American square breaded abomination. Then we ordered the lobster squid ink pasta and the Barcelona paella. The lobster squid ink pasta sauce was probably the better part of the meal, but the lobster itself was overcooked and dry. Unfortunately, the paella was forgotten but that’s ok since it did not show on our bill. Aside from forgetting the paella, our waitress was very nice, there was also a doorman constantly there, but felt that the staff were overbearing watching us like hawks. Overall, the decor and the view were absolutely grand, but it’s just too bad that the food really did not match that grandeur. The ingredients should be of much better quality where bringing the preopening food cost will be higher but will ensure to make that first impression last. No quiero mas.

先來一份芝士紅菜頭餅乾小點熱身,然後我們要了帶子刺身做頭盤,上邊有小小的魚乾醬和橄欖油,咸咸鮮鮮的很開胃。

然後再來一些小吃,是美味的薯仔粒和惹味蝦配麵包。

主菜是西班牙炒飯,是正宗的米粒和海鮮(有青口、蜆和蝦)一起煮,很有海鮮味,只是略鹹一點。

最後甜品芝士餅很濃稠,自製的果仁雪糕很香。

還包咖啡或茶。

服務也非常周到,很專業。

窗外景色是中環主教山古建築群,很漂亮。

2 of us for dinner. Quiero Más (meaning “I Want More” in Spanish) is a new Spanish restaurant taking up the space left by Fofo. Helmed by Chef Alex Fargas, the chefowner of “La Paloma” in Sai Ying Pun.Decor was relaxing and comfortable; a lot of blue tones to bring out the Mediterranean vibe.No liquor license yet. So BYOB.Onepage menu. Here’s what we had:Amuse bouche: cheese crackers.Mushrooms stuffed with tetilla cheese and samfaina. Tetilla is a thick, creamy cheese made of cow’s milk. Went very well with the samfaina, which is a Catalan dish usually made with diced eggplant, zucchini, and tomato.Toasted truffle and tetilla cheese sandwich. Prawns with garlic. Told server I couldn’t take spicy. Server explained that chili had already been premixed with the garlic, so difficult to take out. Decided to try anyway. Not too spicy for me. Came with a side of sliced baguette. Good.Potato Millefeuille. Highly recommended by server. Rightly so. Very crispy layers. Normally not a fan of potato, but I loved this. Finished all pieces. Tasted good enough without the sauce in the middle. Didn’t feel heavy at all.Padron peppers. Brochilini. Cooked to perfection. Tasted good enough without the sauce. Dessert: churros. Came with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. They were much softer than expected.Particularly worth noting was the attentive and professional service. Eg manager rushed over to pick up a dropped napkin, and the servers remembered throughout the meal that I didn’t take spicy. In summary: good quality Spanish fare. Will def be back with more ppl to try the bigger items like paella, suckling pig and Spanish beef.
