I went there on Sunday /1:30pm, the lhottest time of the day and it was 30+ degree and super sunny outside. I ordered classic Laksa, badoon beef rice and ice sugar cane juice ($26 which is claimed as homemade healthy drink). Total amount is $183. I was alone and asked an old guy , their water that if I could sit and wait indoors as it’s super hot outside, seeing that the room was quite empty. He slowly spoke with cold face:’ pay first), absolutely ignored what I asked. I paid and waited seated, 2min later, he kicked me out ‘you go out and wait’.. with the same cold face.. I was pissed and speechless as he absolutely didn’t care, but tried to sell only tried to sell the expensive sugar cake juice. It’s recommended the food there is good, I already tried that when I used to work nearby before, honestly it’s not bad , standard taste according to proper Malaysian laksa, but absolutely not like wowww.Price is over and not worth the money. Plus, these days, people will want to spend money with quality of food taste and service from any mid to high level of pricingfrom restaurants. I will NOT recommend it to others as they don’t serve properly, plus the owner will challenge you if you emphasised to have the noodles and soup separately packed, he would say’ Is it ur first time eating laksa’…? They are horrible…

There are many laksa places in Hong Kong but there are few, or even only this one still doing it the traditional way: Blood Clam. It is something not everyone likes, pricy and difficult to handle. But it has an unique flavour that could not find in other food. It adds so much complexity to the broth and offers you the most authentic taste from Nanyang 👍🏼This one was authentic and delicious with super rich and complex broth. The taste was impeccable and the sip with blood clam was like a mini foodgasm.And I love the use of vermicelli 瀨粉. The noodles were shorter than normal. You can eat it with a spoon so you could drink loads of the soup at the same time😛 Just a brilliant and thoughtful act!Their Kaya Coconut Toast was super good too 🥰 I love the extra butter added. It made everything smoother and tastier. It complemented the kaya sweetness for an evil bite. Everything was spot on!
之前喺四季酒店做,偶然落場都會過嚟幫襯,記憶中係好味嘅餐廳🍜。
一別七年,偶然機會下,睇到蔡瀾先生介紹佢哋,而且有讚冇彈,立刻同太太去回味下!我點了一個正牌叻沙,太太就食香茅豬扒叻沙。
「螄蚶是叻沙的👍🏼👍🏼靈魂!」的確係呢幾粒嘢,令碗叻沙提升咗個層次。
飲第一啖湯,比想像中淡口,不過食到最後又覺得啱啱好喎😝,基本嘅材料都,有豆斗魚片🦐🦐⋯⋯好食嘅!香茅豬扒🐷亦炸得唔錯,味道幾好。
之後再叫多個咖央多士,好大驚喜喎!麵包薄薄但十分脆,咖央加牛油簡直絕配,雖然同喺星加坡食嘅外形做法都有不同,但呢個版本好似更勝傳統。
加埋兩杯飲品共$212,價錢OK吖!
睇蔡瀾YouTube,見推介一間叻沙店,叫加東叻沙,位於上環,幾吸引,同老婆一齊試試。
店舖不大,星期六中午光顧,要排隊。
自己點了招牌叻沙,老婆叫雞絲叻沙。
招牌叻沙加了螄蛤,鮮味立刻提升。
叻沙湯底微辣並加入椰奶,好香滑。
配料有蝦、魚蛋片及豆卜,不俗。
但比較奇怪係係用上瀨粉。
因瀨粉不索汁,食時打了折扣。
同招牌叻沙比較,老婆碗雞絲叻沙無論在味道及賣相方面,都略為失色。
飲品叫了鹹檸七,不過不失。
以價錢每碗叻沙平均$80多元計,有D貴,但味道還OK。
在眾多菜系中 我個人喜好東南亞菜相比之下 中菜是一般般歐美菜系更加興趣不大 今天去的是網上介紹 位於上環的小店專注於馬來西亞叻沙店內面積不大 採用開放式廚房設計 店主兼主厨是一位中年女士 牆上掛有一幅以店主為主角的大大畫像 很有特色菜式除了叻沙 還有馬來米暹 蝦麵星加坡小食 肉骨茶 海南雞飯 咖哩 全部都是我的最愛 可惜我的胃容納不了那麼多最後祇有選擇了招牌菜特色叻沙 和半打沙爹叻沙內有鮮蝦 魚片頭 豆腐卜 芽菜 獅蚶 配上紅彤彤的湯 香濃椰汁 和瀨粉很正宗呀 重點是湯內沒有味精的沙爹我要了雞肉豬肉各三串 配上青瓜和香甜沙爹醬 不錯呢如果沙爹醬內加啲花生碎 青瓜再脆口D 就更加出色收費不算便宜 因為這區的租金實在是太貴 也是情有可原下次有機會 再嚟一試其他的出品
