Went to Armani Bar with colleagues to celebrate xmas this noon. The environment of the restaurant is ok. The antipasti buffet is in average quality. Just the Parma Ham is the highlight. The chef cutting the ham on the table and make the whole buffet table moving while customers serving the buffet. It's quite annoying. No one refill the dish in the buffet table. The variety of it is also very limited.I had the main dish swordfish today and it cost me around $ 300 before 10% service charge. But it is very very disappointing. It is very salty and with no other taste and rough texture. My colleagues who order the same dish got the same feeling.I told the waiter about the taste of the fish, he insist it's the problem and taste of myself. And no other customer complain about it. With his very poor attitude without any apology. The restaurant use the brand Armani, but it is obviously a very local restaurant with poor service & waiters and average food.I will never come again!
Had an Italian food craving when Da Domenico (still my favourite in HK at the moment!) was closed for holiday...I struggle to find good Italian in HK these days, so that was problematic! Since I happened to be walking around Charter House around the time my cravings hit, I decided to give Armani Bar a try, since I've had some decent tea sets there before. Lunch came with a buffetstyle appetizer which was alright. I didn't expect topnotch ham/melons anyway. Service was good though the friendly waiter serving oysters said "I'll give you the biggest ones!" and yeah, so I got the biggest ones Both dishes I had Panfried scallops & clams and the parma ham pizza were better than what I anticipated. The scallops were seasoned just enough to add taste without overpowering natural sweetness. The parma ham pizza smelled heavenly as it arrived and I scoffed the whole thing down without difficulty In conclusion this was a good lunch and I'd probably come again when Da Do is closed

I went with 3 of my friends for dinner and drinks at Armani Bar hk on a Thursday night. When we first got there we were impressed with the atmosphere of the bar, it was very chic and stylish and we felt like we were in a New York hipster restaurant. We sat in the booths in the front section of the bar for a quick dinner. The booths were very comfortable and the music and lighting were a perfect setting. The service staff was very polite and helpful, from the hostess at the reception desk to the waiters we felt very welcomed. We got to Armani Bar around 8 o’clock so we were all pretty hungry by then, I ordering the Scallop Carpaccio to start and then had the Wagyu rib eye. The food was exceptional, the scallop carpaccio in particular. For dessert I ordered a Banana Panna Cotta, this was a great way to finish off a great meal. I was surprised to see the bill when we had all finished. I had expected to pay a lot more for what we had ordered but it came out to a very reasonable price.After dinner we moved to the main bar area for drinks which were some of the best I’ve ever had. The specialty drinks were very unique and were all amazing. I started with a drink called “fire opal” which had a strong mango and orange taste to it. We tried to have as many of the signature drinks as we could and we enjoyed each one. All of the signature drinks tasted great and were very different from one another. We stayed for a good 3 hours after dinner and were very comfortable in the sofa type seating surrounding the main bar. The music and lighting set the perfect mood for the bar. I am definitely going to keep going to Armani bar for both the food and especially the drinks and I would recommend this to everyone as a must try.
