You need to boil the Balut egg for around 78 minutes to reheat it, otherwise its overly slimey! Peel from the bottom rounder part of the egg when its ready. One is meant to suck on the slimey juice oozing out. (I must admit I didn't do this as the smell made me suspect as to whether its safe to eat it like this!) I ate the egg yolk part and it was like a strongish duck egg. There's very little egg white in the egg.
