I love this little place in Quarry Bay! The food was always really really nice. We had "chicken wings with shrimp paste" which was the best chicken wings that I ever ever had! It's crispy, but not oily, spicy but not too salty. i am missing the wings as I type.... ;) Sweet & sour pork (Gu Lo Meat) is delicious too! Also highly recommended is the soup of the day its very home style and I think its MSGfree (as I get really thirsty with MSG). Warning is it gets sold out rather early sometimes so I have to call ahead to reserve the soup. The very nice Lo Baan is always more than happy to do that for us. And the gingermilk pudding!! It's simply fabulous! It's the best I had in HK. Silky smooth with a refined balance of milk and ginger taste. Again this gets sold out all the time too... The only thing that I am not too happy about this place is its hard to find the first time... (in a small street near quarry bay MTR station) but once I found it, its totally worth it! The price is very reasonable for this quality too. I think some diners there mentioned that the Lo Baan worked for one of those expensive "fu ho" restaurants in HK before he started his own place..... maybe that explains the unexpectedly nice service from a small little place like this.

本人同女朋友係睇左之前既介紹先去黎間餐廳食飯, 見個食評唔差...橫掂又住港島區去下又無妨...門口個外觀真係好普通...店內環境頗清潔...經店員介紹後叫左幾個菜式...鹽水鴨..翡翠豆腐...糖醋排骨..鹽水鴨肉質好林...味道適中...鐘意食鴨既朋友一定要試呢個餸...翡翠豆腐唔係用普通豆腐做架...好似有少少似玉子豆腐咁既口感..但原來係自家製作既豆腐..算係幾有特色既菜...出面食唔到同一菜式...糖錯排骨味道不錯.....好入味...但女朋友唔係咁鐘意呢味菜...佢食唔慣上海菜...醋味太重...係我鐘意食肉...堅持要點,,唯有下次同朋友再黎先有機會食啦..總括講幾好食...我地一致應為會再黎食過...
同事唔帶我黎, 都唔知呢度有間咁既餐廳, 個舖位都幾偏僻下選擇唔算好多, 有幾個午餐, 麵餐咁最後我揀左個午餐 (藥膳雞 + 飯 + 湯 + 豆漿)午餐送豆漿 / 山楂茶, 凍飲加 $2豆漿無乜點加糖, 唔算甜, 岩岩好山楂茶同事話好酸個藥膳雞唔錯, 係雞脾黎...幾入味幾滑, 唔會話重藥味成日舉手搵 d 侍應, 有時應左你一聲, 又去招呼其他客, 呢度扣左分不過個老細幾好人, 服務呢方面有待改進
